The Water Tube Boilers are used to meet high capacity and high pressure steam demands processes in industrial processes. These boilers are produced under German Eckrohrkessel GmbH license.

They are manufacture in accordance with TSE 377, EN12952 standards, tested and CE marked as per EN 97/23/EC pressure vessels directive and module B+F, designed, manufactured and tested according to ASME Section I and "S" stamped. Water Tube Boilers are designed as D or O type with bi-drum or single drum for generating up to 80 bar pressure and 150t/h of saturated or super-heated steam.

These boilers can easily handle load fluctuations without changing pressure and temperature. They engage regimes quickly and are more resistant to thermal stress because of their design which has a low water volume.

MANUFACTURING:

Water Tube Boilers are manufactured, in our factory in Ankara, in accordance with the requirements of the design codes and standards by making strict quality control at each production stage. The manufacturing processes are performed under the supervision of the 3rd party control agencies, depending on request of customers or if ASME "S" stamp or CE marking is required.

Membrane panel wall pipe welding and panel bending processes are carried out in the automatic panel welding and bending machine.

BOILER FEATURES:

In single drum(O type) corner tube boilers that designed with Eckrohrkessel GmbH company license, steam and water begin to be separated in the upper steam overflow headers. The steam dryness is vey high and no water drift happens. Even though feed water purity is poor, steam is obtained in high purity.

In bi-drum(D type) boilers, combustion chamber and evaporator tube bundle through the membrane wall tube around them, respond very quickly to load demands. Circulation and water drift problems are eliminated by the special drum internal parts.

CORNER TUBE BOILERS:

Under Eckrohrkessel GmbH license Selnikel designs and manufactures corner tube boilers which have a specific design that pressure tubes work as a boiler carrier elements at the same time.

Downcomers, headers and tube walls are welded together to a gas-tight tube cage which is self-supported by downcomer tubes in all four corners of the boiler (corner tubes) without complicated connections between boiler and cold frame. These boilers are set up in the way that they can expand from the ground level to all directions.

In the other boiler designs water-steam separation is mainly provided in the drum by drum internals whereas in ERK Corner Tube Boilers the same occurs in the top collector tubes contributing to a better water circulation.

BASIC DIFFERENCES AND BENEFITS:

In the first run, water circulation starts quickly due to the short distances from heating surface to the drum. Along with the first firing of the boiler, water in the entire panel wall tubes begin to evaporate quickly. Hazardous material tension does not occur due to different thermal expansion. Thermal tension does not occur in the lower part due to lack of lower drum.

Compared to other design, few tube connection is made to drum. This situation prevents to attenuate drum shell plate with holes. It is possible to be activated very fast because of tolerable temperature differences are high.

Sudden steam withdrawals can be tolerated without any drop in the vapor pressure, fluctuations in the drum water level, and water drift. Need of required space for placement is low. Boiler often is transported to the installation site as a single piece.
